Day 5- Talking
vessels
They talked. And talked
some more.
Who would’ve believed that
these two were strangers who had met barely an hour ago, due to a delayed bus.
Mother-in-laws and
husbands had been damned, children had been gloated and moaned over and shops
had been suggested.
They talked as if they had known each other all their
lives, and possibly in their previous births as well, he grimaced, as he tried
to shut out their voices, and attempted to read the paper.
‘Empty vessels make the
most noise’ he read and chuckled to himself as he muttered ‘talking vessels’
under his breath.
